Last summer, we right here at Hackaday took part in the Red Bull development Contest. Basically, twelve teams were provided webcams as well as directions to develop something cool. The teams online streamed their develop process, as well as the very best of the lot won a trip to the new York maker Faire. [Jason Naumoff], the man behind this build-off is doing it once again best now. It’s called The Deconstruction as well as it pits 50 teams on 6 continents to develop something great while streaming their job to the Internet.
The Deconstruction is a bit bit different from Red Bull’s contest – first, the teams don’t have gain access to to ludicrous amounts of energy drinks. Secondly, there’s no set style for the group entries. It’s a free-for-all develop off where teams can make anything they’d like.
We’ve truly got to hand it to [Jason] for pulling this off. He MC’d the Red Bull development contest online stream – almost all 72 hours of it – as well as was entertaining best as much as the extremely end. You can inspect out the official stream on the primary Deconstruction site, or you can inspect out the private team streams here.
